Memorial day reflection and sale

First, I grew up as a Navy brat during the Vietnam era, when the military wasn’t too popular. Thank you to all who serve, have served, and their families.

I’m having a little sale for Memorial Day Weekend.  Little because there are only 4 products on Sale.

We have 2 Taser ,models, a stun gun and a stun baton on sale. The sale prices are really good.

The sale will end Monday, May 25, at Midnight, Eastern time.

I want this to be a fun weekend for you…just not too much fun!  Be careful out there.  There will be some crazies.   Make sure you’re not one of them.

Try to take a moment this weekend to remember the purpose of this holiday — to remember those who’ve given their lives for this country.

Wars are created by governments but fought by ordinary citizens.  These warriors go where they’re told to go and fight when they’re told to fight. Some come home, some do not.  Either way, they did their duty.  Nothing more could be asked of any man or woman than they did their duty.

Whether we should be in Afghanistan or Iraq is a debate that should be taken up with your elected officials.  If you don’t like the war, make sure your government knows about it.  But, do not include the airmen, sailors, soldiers and Marines who are just doing their duty, in your criticism of the war.

I have a favorite commercial put out a few years ago by Anheuser-Busch (beer companies make the best commercials).

For all those who’ve lost someone to a war, I salute you and them.  I know we all look forward to the day when greed, religious fanaticism and pride are not reasons to send our young men and women to war.  But, until that day comes, we will stand united in our support for all those who risk their lives and limbs just doing their duty.

God bless and have a fun and safe weekend.
